Summer's over, Fall's in...

It's sad to see the summer go but we've still got some great fall weather and activities to look forward to. Last weekend the gang went up to Fish Creek Pond and enjoyed the water, weather and camp culinary arts. Friday night me, lil' Kodiak, big bear, my bud and his wife planted tent stakes on sites 70 and 71. My better half was under the weather and had to camp at home. But we got things arranged, set up and dinner on the run in no time.

Saturday was full of canoeing, kayaking  and a bit of fishing.

I caught a monster 5 lb. smallmouth on a worm trolled behind my canoe over in Square Pond. I released her after a couple of pics, those kind of genes need to keep going! Saturday night was London-broil steak, and pizza for dinner, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and campfire before turning in. We did get a bit of rain that night but what a gorgeous weekend.

Feel free to copy that pic for a desktop..I've got more.
