Winter What to do….

If you’re a little bored right now and not getting enough sunlight there are some things worth doing even with or without snow. Check out the Lake George Winter Carnival every weekend in February to start. They’ve got everything from duck and truck races to Zumba. (I’m not sure how Zumba is a winter sport….) Also on the calendar are home and gun shows coming up in the capital district. Great time of the year to do a little wine tasting too. If we get a little more snow you can head out to the ski lodges and try your luck a skiing or tubing at Maple Ski Ridge, Gore Mountain, Whiteface or Hunter Mountain where you can renew your vows on Valentine’s Day. Oh and congrats to the spanking-new Marriott Courtyard in Lake George Village on Canada Street. Stayed there last week and it is gorgeous and Adirondack themed. GO THERE!!! Staff is excellent and plenty of things to do right across the street on the lake.….
