Merry Christmas!

It's an upstate thing, we say Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah, not Happy Holidays. We don't discount the importance of the celebration of other religion's holidays, it's just that we're into the Christmas tree, lights, Menorah, shopping and gift-giving thing whether or not you're Catholic, Protestant, Presbyterian, Jewish or agnostic. Hey, the snow's falling, people are trying to be nicer, go with it...

Despite your beliefs or lack of, it's a good time to look at the big picture. The elections are over with no more politicos stumping all over the TV and even if it's not your holiday you get a break. Better yet, there's some great holiday treats like peanut brittle, cookies, fudge, bark and the like flying around.

So dump the PC (Politically Crazy) thing and start something by tossing a good-hearted lob of a snowball at your kids and buddies. Life's too short and in two million years nobody is going to care about any of the hot button BS issues that are out there...

Merry Christmas!!!
