Try and find a country concert, professional bull rider event and a gun show south of the Tappan Zee Bridge any time of year, but in one weekend we've got all three here in the upstate Capital District. Thursday night we hit the Times Union Center for Rascal Flatts (sponsored by WGNA)
after we hit the Osteria Ciao ( 44 S Pearl St. Albany, NY 12207- across from the TU Center)for a few JD's ( gotta prime up).. Kelly Pickler warmed up for RF and she was, uhhh, OK, but RF kicked it when they hit the lights and did a solid 2.5 hours of everything new, old, and impromptu. Saturday was the Gun Show down at the Egg, lots of old and new firearms (found some new toys) and just down the street at the Times Union Center Saturday and Sunday is the Professional Bull Rider's tour going on. Only in the upstate we do it all folks, where else can you see a concert, a rodeo and get a six-shooter...
