How not to do Customer Support. DELL....

 Thank you so much Dell.

A new low for customer service. I've had Dell pcs and laptops for years, never had a problem until I bought a new laptop November 27th. I PAID for it and took until December 8 to get delivered. On December 13 it DIED. Call tech support and they said they'd send me a box to send it back for repair? Repair? It was GD brand new, the right answer was send the other back we'll send out a replacement. That didn't happen. I sent it back and it arrived at the repair center December 15. I have called them numerous times and I get the same foreign accent and bounced all over the place. I then took to Twitter and let out a "thanks Loads Dell" and got an immediate response from a BOT. Useless. I called Dell every two days and finally got an email saying the part was back ordered. This is the 28th and I still don't have my laptop. I did get a phone call from a tech support supervisor who was almost concerned and that he was going to escalate my issue. I'm already escalated.... Beware of Dell. When I ran a PC business this never would have flown. Imagine if you bought a new car and it died on the fifth day and they told you the part was back ordered and didn't know when it would be in and they are keeping the car until...... Lets Go Dell..
@DellCares is a joke. Even better, if I wanted to return the laptop they would have to mail it back to me broken so that I could send it back for return....I really am missing that logic....
BEWARE OF DELL....Never again.....
